A Time for Revival: Why We Launched the American Revival Project

Every generation eventually faces the same question: What can we do to leave a stronger nation and a stronger faith to our children than the one we inherited?

For our family, that question has led to the launch of the American Revival Project. This initiative is our answer to a calling we have felt deeply: to help cultivate in the next generation a genuine love for God, a gratitude for our country, and a commitment to defend the timeless principles of faith, family, and freedom.

None of those things are passed from one generation to the next through osmosis. They are preserved through intentional teaching, faithful living, and courageous stewardship. Values must be modeled. Character must be cultivated. Faith must be nurtured. Freedom must be protected.

We believe America stands at the threshold of another great opportunity—a fresh revival and a new Great Awakening. Throughout history, periods of spiritual renewal have transformed not only individual hearts but entire communities and nations. Yet revival has never begun in government buildings or public institutions. It begins in the quiet places: in the hearts of men and women, around family dinner tables, in churches, and in homes where parents faithfully teach their children to know and love God.

In recent years, we have been encouraged to see renewed interest in Christianity and the spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, and church involvement. We believe those sparks should not simply be admired—they should be fanned into flame. America does not need another passing trend; she needs a genuine spiritual renewal that changes lives from the inside out.

That renewal starts by returning to the basics. We want to rediscover what it truly means to follow Jesus Christ with wholehearted devotion and what it means to be faithful citizens who cherish the extraordinary blessings and responsibilities of American liberty.

We are profoundly grateful for the men who founded this nation, establishing a constitutional republic that recognizes the God-given dignity and rights of every individual. We are equally grateful for the generations of servicemen and women who have sacrificed—many paying the ultimate price—to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today. Their courage reminds us that liberty is never self-sustaining; every generation must choose to preserve it.

We believe God has entrusted our generation with that responsibility. Every faithful contribution matters. We desire to help strengthen this nation and hold it in trust for those who will come after us, so that America may continue to be "one nation under God" where life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are cherished and protected.

The American Revival Project exists because we believe the virtues that forged this nation are worth recovering. Integrity. Personal responsibility. Courage. Faithfulness. Sacrifice. Strong families. Respect for life. Love of neighbor. Freedom of conscience. These are not outdated ideals—they remain the foundation of flourishing communities and a healthy republic.

The freedoms Americans enjoy have also made this nation one of the greatest launching points for sharing the Gospel around the world. Religious liberty has allowed churches, missionaries, and believers to proclaim the hope of Christ both at home and abroad. That freedom must never be taken for granted or surrendered carelessly.

We also believe that every human life possesses immeasurable value because every person bears the image of God. We are committed to championing the sanctity of life from conception to natural death and affirming God's beautiful design for marriage and family as foundational institutions for both society and human flourishing.

Ultimately, however, cultural renewal cannot happen apart from personal revival. Lasting change begins when ordinary men and women humble themselves before God, pursue Him through His Word and prayer, and allow their relationship with Christ to transform every area of life. As individual lives change, families become stronger. Stronger families build healthier churches. Healthy churches strengthen communities. Strong communities help preserve a free and virtuous nation.

That is the vision that compels us.

The American Revival Project seeks to celebrate the remarkable ways God has blessed our nation while encouraging America to return to the paths of truth wherever we have wandered. We want to encourage families, equip believers, inspire future generations, and remind Americans that our greatest hope has never rested in politics or personalities, but in the transforming power of God working through faithful people.
